Hello! I'm Ella, a Robotics Engineering student at ASU.
I'm currently the Secretary of Combat Ready Robotics, a club which teaches ASU students to build their own combat robots. I've built several beetleweight (3lb weight class) robots in teams with other students, as well as a few other bots of my own. In my robot designs, I gravitate toward novel and interesting mechanisms, like ReBoot's CAM-and-slot-driven locomotion, Wrangler's "Greedy Snake" grabbing-and-lifting mechanism, and Saloon Sweeper's Bristle Drive.
I'm also currently working as a "Lifeguard" (Laboratory Space Assistant) at ASU's Interplanetary Initiative Lab.
